These styles have been my go-to's and are low maintenance!
1. The low bun – If you know me this is one of my main go-to hairstyles. I think this is one of the easiest, chic, hairstyles to create. This can be done on wet or dry hair. I start out by spraying leave-in-conditioner (I use Redken) and brush out my hair with a wet brush. Then, I like to add a little bit of hair oil to the ends to keep my hair hydrated (curly hair problems!) After that, I like to part my hair in the middle and slick it back (nice and tight), then twist it into a low bun.
2. The high bun - This style doesn’t have to be perfect, messy is good. When I have second or third day hair, I like to pull my hair up high and tie it into a bun. I like to
twist my hair or even braid the ponytail part, wrap it, and tie. Every bun turns out different which is the beauty of this style.
3. Beach Waves - Another one of my favorite looks are beach waves – thank you Desi Perkins for this tutorial! After you towel dry your hair, part your hair into even pigtails (I do 4 sections), braid each section, and then simply to go bed. When you wake up the next day, take out your braids. Then take a small curler or wand to create bouncy, loose wave - I like to take pieces that I think need to be touched up (there are no rules as to how many pieces you should curl).
